The Moscow Education Advising Center - EducationUSA (EAC) is pleased to invite you to a Panel Discussion: Job Opportunities for Russian Graduates of US Universities.
US alumni and employees of recruiting agencies will hold a discussion on job opportunities.
Alumni of US Universities, as well as those planning to study in the US, are welcome.

1) "Choosing a Graduate School in the U.S."

Bram Caplan, Regional Educational Advising Coordinator for Eurasia will address a range of topics,
including funding graduate school, selecting the program, the
application process and others. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.

Elena Schachter, EAC Independent Consultant will provide an update information about the SAT, the examination for admission to study in the U.S. institutions (Bachelor degree). She will explain how to prepare better to pass it, and give sample of the SAT tasks.

Essay contest for Russian students

The Moscow EducationUSA Advising Center is pleased to announce the Essay contest dedicated to the International Education Week.

Are you planning to study in the United States?Have you already written your statement of purpose/essay for the university of your choice?

Submit your essay to the Moscow EducationUSA Advising Center and have a chance to win.

This essay contest is part of a celebration of International Education Week (November 12-16, 2007), a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

The TOEFL essay and other workshops at the EducationUSA center

We are pleased to invite you to a series of workshops
to be held late August-early September at the American Center.
Entrance is free.


1) Workshop. Graduate Study in the US.

Dmitry Mironenko, a graduate student studying East Asian Languages &
Civilizations at Harvard University will address a range of topics,
including funding graduate school, selecting the program, the
application process and others. Dmitry will also give his advice on
applying for the Fulbright Scholarship of which he was a recipient in
2005-07. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
