to be held late August-early September at the American Center.

1) Workshop. Graduate Study in the US.
Dmitry Mironenko, a graduate student studying East Asian Languages &
Civilizations at Harvard University will address a range of topics,
including funding graduate school, selecting the program, the
application process and others. Dmitry will also give his advice on
applying for the Fulbright Scholarship of which he was a recipient in
2005-07. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.

2) Workshop. Preparing your Application Package. Writing a Winning Application Essay.
Anna Savelieva, Educational Adviser, EAC, Carolyn Ho, Educational Consultant and Former
Executive Director,the Foundation for International Understanding Through Students (FIUTS),
the University of Washington, will share information about the application procedures
and give tips on expressing yourself on the application form.

3) Workshop. The TOEFL Essay. Practice your Writing Skills!
Elena Schachter, EAC Independent Consultant, Moscow EAC will provide an update
information about TOEFL, the examination for admission to study in the U.S. institutions, explain how to prepare better to pass it, and give sample of the TOEFL essays.
